How long does it take to assemble?

Contacto Lamps can typically be assembled in 30 min and an hour. But we all learn at our own pace, take your time and enjoy the process!

What if I can’t get it to work?

No need to fret if you can’t get your lamp to work. We are happy to help you with one-on-one troubleshooting.

Can my kid assemble the lamp on their own?

This lamp is only for adults. All Contacto Lamps assembly requires adult supervision to assure safety. This kit can be a great way to spend quality time with your curious kiddos!

Do I need to be “good” at science to build one?

Contacto Lamps come with a detailed guide that describes both assembly and the science of how the lamp works in simplified language to give as much clarity as we can.

why pla?

PLA (Polylactic Acid) is better than many other materials for 3D printing because it is biodegradable, derived from renewable resources like cornstarch or sugarcane, and produces minimal harmful emissions when heated. It can be composted, incinerated or recycled.
